ArmInfo. In connection with the coronavirus, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, commandant Tigran Avinyan called on food stores to set special opening hours exclusively for older customers.
On the air of the Public Television of Armenia, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested setting a period from 10:00 to 12:00 as a special mode of work for servicing elderly people. In particular, he drew attention to the fact that in Italy, for example, cases of death from coronavirus are recorded most often among older people who also have chronic diseases.
Avinyan also touched upon the package of legislative changes introduced on the agenda of the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly, which specify the mechanisms for self-isolation of patients with coronavirus or persons in contact with them, control over this process, as well as penalties for violators. The relevant data of persons subject to self-isolation are at the disposal of the Ministry of Health. Avinyan also announced plans to publish a new list of business entities whose activities will be banned in a state of emergency. These measures will affect in particular business entities whose activities are not related to food supplies.
