ArmInfo. Educational institutions of Armenia, due to new cases of coronavirus infection, will not work until March 23. On March 13, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashnyan announced this on live on his Facebook page. He noted that the government will return to this issue on March 18-19.
The Prime Minister emphasized that no preventive methods and measures will help in the fight against coronavirus if the population does not treat this situation with high personal responsibility and awareness. Regarding the hype with the masks, the Prime Minister noted that they should only be worn by people who have symptoms of a virus infection and by people in contact with them.
In addition, Pashinyan urged to remain calm, greet each other without handshakes and kisses, to avoid participating in mass events, and also not to organize them.
He emphasized that the Coronavirus Prevention Commission works on a daily basis and monitors the situation hourly. In this regard, the Prime Minister urged not to trust any other sources, with the exception of state bodies and the government, which will promptly report any changes and decisions. Pashinyan also called on all persons in contact with those infected in Echmiadzin, who are now isolated, in case of symptoms, to contact the RA Police or the Ambulance service.
