ArmInfo. Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Feliks Tsolakyan, denied the information that he was applying for the post of head of the National Security Service of Armenia. He announced the absence of such plans on November 4 in an interview with reporters.
The resignation of Arthur Vantsyan from the post of head of the National Security Service became known on September 16. In his statement, he noted in particular that "spontaneous decisions, sweeping actions, and the absence of differences between the primary and secondary are not the path that leads to the achievement of goals." Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reacted rather harshly to the fact that this statement was initially posted on the official website of the National Security Council, and before signing the corresponding decree on Vanetsyan's resignation. According to him, being de jure director of the NSS, Vanetsyan, in fact, opposed his Supreme Commander. "This means throwing epaulettes into the trash bin," Pashinyan noted on September 23 during his press conference in Los Angeles. Vanetsyan, commenting on this statement, emphasized that time will put everything in its place. Today, Arthur Vanetsyan continues to lead the Football Federation of Armenia.
