ArmInfo. Former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, hero of the Karabakh war Vitaly Balasanyan's statements, were sent to the National Security Service  (NSS) of Armenia for study.

"The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia sent Balasanyan's  interview to the NSS to check the circumstances indicated in his  statement," Arevik Khachatryan, Press Secretary of the Prosecutor  General's Office, told ArmInfo.

At the time of publication of the text ArmInfo could not obtain  additional information on this issue in the RA NSS.

To note, in a "Live News" interview, Vitaly Balasanyan criticized  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in particular, for meeting a month  ago with the leadership of the "Sasna Tsrer" party and threatened to  physically exterminate those who, in his own words, would encroach on  him, on the power and statehood of Karabakh.

< Nikol Pashinyan is trying to intimidate everyone, why not, and me,  and people like me, they say,: I have a combat wing, I can give a  small order, and "Sasna Tsrer" or the rest will physically  exterminate you>. I want to inform everyone, especially Nikol  Pashinyan's supporters "Sasna Tsrer"  - Don't try to start such  conversations at all, or you will immediately take responsibility for  it. Nikol Pashinyan and this terrorist group are together. One with  weapons, the other with a pen usurped power. I declare it loudly, let  the Nikol's proud citizens  hear, " Vitaly Balasanyan said.

Meanwhile, the coordinator of the "Sasna Tsrer" party secretariat  Varujan Avetisyan assured that the former authorities were behind the  statements of Vitaliy Balasanyan. , Avetisyan said.Vitaly Balasanyan was called to the Special Investigation Service a  month ago in the framework of the criminal case , but he did  not appear for questioning. In his statement, he replied that "he was  not personally in Yerevan during the events of March 1-2, 2008, and  his data on the events that took place in those days is limited to  what is accessible to the general public and was disseminated by the  media".  Meanwhile, before that, in an interview, Balasanyan claimed  that he was also aware of the events of March 1, 2008, that he had  information about what had happened. Balasanyan also joined the  statement in defense of the second President of Armenia Robert  Kocharyan, who was arrested in the case of March 1.
