ArmInfo. The trial to determine the measure of restraint in respect of the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharian will continue on December 3. This was stated by Kocharyan's attorney Hayk Alumyan in an interview with journalists.Alumian noted that today he did not have time to finish the submission of the complaint and will continue it at the next meeting.
RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan was also present at today's meeting. It should be noted that the consideration of the case on the definition of a preventive measure against Kocharyan began on November 27.
Recall that on November 15, the Court of Cassation annulled the decision of the Court of Appeal on the abolition of the preventive measure in the form of arrest against the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and sent the case to the same court for a new consideration. Recall that the Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan demanded that Kocharyan use a preventive measure as an arrest. Robert Kocharyan is accused of overthrowing the constitutional order in the March 1, 2008 case. He does not recognize the charges against him, considering them politically motivated.
