ArmInfo.Within the framework of the fight against corruption in Armenia, various criminal cases were initiated in the amount of 64 billion drams. The acting premier of Armenia, heading the proportional list of ''My Step'' bloc Nikol Pashinyan, stated this.
Answering the question why these cases are not disclosed in a shorter time, Pashinyan assured that all the norms of the law are observed in this process. In addition, he stressed, the investigative bodies are very busy in recent months.
As a result of the fight against corruption, he pointed out the fact that the family of former head of the Customs Service of Armenia Armen Avetisyan recently turned to the government, informing that she wants to donate the ''Golden Palace'' complex in Tsaghkadzor to the state. "Apparently, the Avetisyans decided to use the possibilities of transitional justice," said Pashinyan.
According to him, if the process is completed, the hotel complex will be sold, and the proceeds, which, according to Pashinyan's definition, will be about $ 20 million, will be sent to the budget.
To note, a criminal case was launched against Armen Avetisyan on charges of money laundering.
