ArmInfo. The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan returned the lawsuit filed by Robert Kocharian's second son, Sedrak Kocharyan, the son of the second President of Armenia against the NSS director Artur Vanetsyan.
As reported by the press service of the Judicial Department, on October 1 Aida Davtyan, a judge of the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan, decided to return the claim to the plaintiff for its completion and elimination of deficiencies within three days. In particular, as noted, when filing a lawsuit, the plaintiff provided incomplete information on the place of residence and registration of Artur Vanetsyan. In addition, it indicates the absence in the statement of claim of the specific requirements of the plaintiff.
Recall that on September 22 the son of Robert Kocharyan, the second president of Armenia, Sedrak Kocharyan, filed a lawsuit against the director of the National Security Service of Armenia RA Artur Vanetsyan. According to the judicial information system, the plaintiff demanded payment of compensation for defamation and publicly refute the statement. At the same time, it does not indicate which statement is being referred to.
Earlier, on September 11, Vanetsyan, during a press conference, stated that a new criminal case had been launched against Robert Kocharyan over the fact that the Kocharian's family had bought the Congress hotel for taking a bribe of $ 6 million. He also said that a criminal case had been opened on the fact of money laundering . However, the other day, the head of the National Security Service clarified a number of earlier statements he had made about Kocharyan, presenting them as "a consequence of the rapid manner of speech." "I want to make only one amendment: during the press conference, I announced a bribe of 6 million. Remember? This was the" result of quick manner of speaking. "This is not about a bribe, but about the proceeds of crime," explained Vanetsyan.
