ArmInfo. The reasons for migration from Armenia lie not only in the social and economic sphere, but, first and foremost, the widespread atmosphere of injustice that citizens of the country face in the daily regime. This was stated by the candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, speaking from the rostrum of the National Assembly.
According to the candidate for the Prime Minister, these days thousands of Armenians returned to Armenia to participate in the nationwide protest movement. As Pashinyan pointed out, the atmosphere of excitement that has been formed in Armenia today, thanks to street protests, gives hope that the citizens of Armenia, who had left their homeland, may return. "Armenians have finally developed a sense of" the owner of their own country, "which will bind Armenians to their homeland, and I consider this to be one of the important achievements of the protest movement, which will not only stop the migration from Armenia, but also launch the process of the return of Armenians to the republic, he stated. Later, according to the candidate for the premieres, the sons of Armenia, who left the country due to total social discrimination, will see the changes in Armenia and return."They will see that they have the right to conduct creative, entrepreneurial and other activities at home, that everyone is equal before the law," he said. In addition, according to Pashinyan, in order for the youth of the country to connect their future with their homeland, they should have the right to a decent education.Higher education in Armenia should have the right to broad self-government, which will ensure the apolitical leadership of universities and eradicate the total atmosphere of adulation in educational institutions. "A university student with a high degree of academic achievement should be guaranteed from the deduction because of non-payment of tuition, for this we must send more funds from the state budget for education, since the sphere is strategic for the future development of Armenia," he concluded.
