ArmInfo. On the upcoming parliamentary elections, the Republican Party of Armenia on April 2 will receive 60% of the votes. With such a forecast on February 21 at a press conference in Yerevan spoke the political scientist, Director of the Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation Stepan Grigoryan.
Grigoryan believes that the electoral process can happen in the three scenarios. According to the first, the RPA assumes the victory of the ruling party with 60% of votes. With the layouts analyst predicts 15% of the voting to bloc "Tsarukyan" and "Dashnaktsutiun" and "Armenian revival" by 5%. However, he believes that if the blocs "Elk", "Ohanian-Raffi-Oskanian," and "Free Democrats" - "Freedom" and the Armenian National Congress with the People's Party of Armenia will hold a classical campaign, only one of them will get the ability to enter the parliament.
The second scenario by the political scientist, includes the consolidation of the opposition political and an aggressive campaign, during which will be announced the problem of political prisoners, difficult socio- economic conditions and tariffs for gas and electricity. "In such a case the society will also consolidat and be able to change the situation in the country", he said.
The third scenario, he considered the possible "force majeure" with the beginning of hostilities by Azerbaijan. In this context, he is bothered by the fact that the Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan tops the list of the Republican Party and will actively participate in the campaign. "The government must realize who is our enemy and that Azerbaijan may start fighting on the borders at any time ", said Grigoryan.
