ArmInfo. The Military Commisariat of Nagorno Karabakh disproves the information of Armenian media regarding the version stating the payout of disability pension to Pavel Manukyan, currently being under arrest due to Police Patrol division building seizure case, was stopped.
As ArmInfo was informed by Tsovinar Khachatryan, the NKR Military Commissariat financial department head, Pavel Manukyan has been receiving pension until the July of current year (until the seizure events). "We are not able to send his pension via post office, because he has no trusted person who could receive the transfers on behalf of him." But the payment of the pension is not stopped, this amounts are being transferred top a special account, which will become available for Manukyan immediately upon his release," Khachatryan clarified.
She also stated that upon receiving an appropriate notification signed by Nubarashen penitentiary head, stating that a trusted person could receive transfers on behalf of Manukyan, there will be no problems with such transfers. In any other case all the transfers will be allocated to the special account," Khachatryan said.
Pavel Manukyan is a 2nd group military handicap, and he receives AMD 100.000 pension from NKR Military Commissariat as a Karabakh war veteran.
