ArmInfo. Great Britain sees no reason to change its policy in South Caucasus, and in Armenia particularly, Judith Farnworth, the Ambassador of Great Britain to Armenia stated, answering the questions regarding the changes in GB foreign policy after the BrExit.
The Ambassador said that British Prime Minister has already stated, that Great Britain does not leave Europe. GB remains the factor of international community and we will keep on playing active role in all the international aspects.
Speaking about the development of Britain after leaving EU, the Ambassador reminded that the country's economy keeps the 5th place in the world and is one of fast developing. The Great Britain is one of the most comfortable countries for doing business and will remain like that after BrExit as well. Britain will not leave EU unless the format of our further cooperation with that entity is decided and will remain friends with EU and partners, the Ambassador stated.
Regarding challenges and threats for Britain after BrExit, the Ambassador mentioned that the Britain will face a complicated task to stand as a new, independent entity, because during recent 40 years the United Kingdom was the part of EU and all the regulations, agreements and concepts were developed jointly. According to her, works in this respect have started already.
To remind, on June 23 a referendum on BrExit ( Britain leaving EU) showed that the adepts of BrExit won. After that David Cameron, the previous Prime Minister, resigned.
