ArmInfo.On December 8, Tigran Sargsyan, Head of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board, informed Russian President Vladimir Putin of several problems that need to be resolved to promote the integration. Kremlin.ru reports that the meeting was timed to the preparations for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council's session that will take place in St. Petersburg on December 26.
"You have been the chairman of the EEC Board for a year already. I know you are working hard and you have many interesting ideas," Putin said, adding that free movement of capital, commodities and people is just a basis for moving forward with due regard for the priority directions, which are most interesting and promising in terms of enhancement of all the EEU member states' competitiveness. Tigran Sargsyan, in turn, said that the agenda of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council includes nearly 25 issues and they contain serious potential for boosting economic growth in the EEU countries.
