ArmInfo. Belarus is ready to provide any possible support needed for the peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. According to the information shared to ArmInfo by the press office of Belarusian President, that was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko in his interview to the Trend media agency.
"In respect to the Karabakh issue our position still remains the same: the problem could be solved exclusively by negotiations table and in conformance to the basic principles of International Law. Being the member of OSCE Minsk Group, Belarus is ready to provide any possible support to the sides to find peaceful solution of the issue. We proceed of one thing - there is no greater value for people than peace and tranquility of the motherland," Lukashenko mentioned.
Within this Belorusian leader stated that Belarus didn't "turn a", but obtained a status of a peacemaker due to its balanced, responsible policy, which serves both for national interests and for the improvement of the stability in European region.
"Nowadays Minsk is accepted by the international community as the most expedient site to settle the situation at the East of Ukraine. I want to state that we are ready to arrange in Belarusian Capital any kinds of meetings at all the levels and in all the formats, to set peace between any conflicting parties. That concerns also the Karabakh issue. That is why we always will do our best to improve peace, normal life and tranquility of the people," Lukashenko said.
