ArmInfo. I think, that the election of Moldova's new President will not affect anyhow the foreign policy of the country, Andrej Galbur, the Vice-Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Moldova stated in Yerevan, answering ArmInfo questions about possible changes in the foreign policy course of the country due to the election of new President. He reminded that Moldova has chosen the path of euro integration and appropriate reforms take pace in the country to speed up the process.
"I would like to mention that Moldova's Government from the very beginning joined this priority to another one, which is aimed at building constructive, practice relations with Russia. We have done a lot during this period, held numerous meetings at the top level. Our vector to euro integration does not collide anyhow with the process of building normal, constructive relations with our partners in Moscow," the Minister mentioned. He considers that this approach will act also within the mandate of new President of the country. To note, Presidential Elections took place in Moldova on November 13. After 100% bulletins have been processed, the socialist Igor Dodon was recognized as the winner, who had 52.18% of votes. The other candidate, assigned by the "Honor and Truth" party, Maji Sandu, took 47.82 % of votes.
