ArmInfo. Chairman of Board of Directors of Multi Group Concern Sedrak Arustamyan says that Multi Group Concern owner, MP Gagik Tsarukyan is not planning to return to mainstream politics.
"If Gagik Tsarukyan wishes to do so, he will announce it himself. I know for certain that at the moment Tsarukyan has no such intentions," Arustamyan told reporters.
Meanwhile, ArmInfo's sources close to the authorities say that during the Prosperous Armenia Party's (PAP) congress in November 2016 Tsarukyan will announce his intention to return to mainstream politics and will become the PAP's chairman. According to the specified sources, the relevant agreement has already been reached with the top management of the country in order to ensure the PAP's place in the pro- power coalition along with the Republican Party of Armenia and ARF Dashnaktsutyun following the parliamentary elections of 2017.
