ArmInfo.The parents of the servicemen that went missing as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia on September 13-15 are holding a protest of in front of Armenia's Ministry of Defense. They are demanding information on their children.
Serzhik Ghazaryan, farther of one of the servicemen, says he has not received any information on his son for 13 days. He is inquiring of Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan and Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan about the measures being taken to discover the servicemen's fate.
"For 13 days killed and wounded servicemen have been there. You have not done anything to bring the wounded out. Our children would be safe now. I am speaking of Upper Shorzha, where we had killed and wounded. That part is under Azerbaijan's control, with no search conducted there," he said.
Hayk Antanyan, father of serviceman Samvel Antanyan, said that he son was drafted two months ago. He lost touch with his son on September 15 after he had been sent to Nerqin Khand and served in Kapan.
"No one is giving a clear explanation. Nothing is being done. I have gone round all the agencies, no news about my son," he said.
Armenia's authorities have not so far provided any information on the number of missing and captured servicemen in the wake of Azerbaijan's aggression on September 13-15. Human rights activists say up to 20 Armenian servicemen are in captivity in Azerbaijan now. Some of the wounded Armenian servicemen captured by Azerbaijanis were killed later.
