ArmInfo.The Republic of Armenia will hand over 4 units of warning systems to the RF Embassy in the RA and the FSS of Russia for the effective solution of the tasks assigned to them, the decision of the RA government, approved on June 3 at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, reads.
Thus, according to the substantiation certificate to the document, 1 unit of the alerting system (TBD-GA- 20001m), worth 360 thousand drams and which is on the balance of the Republic's Police, will be transferred to the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia.
Another 3 units of the alerting system (TBD-GA-20001m), worth 1 million 080 thousand drams, will be transferred by Armenia to the Border Department of the FSS of Russia.
"These warning systems will be used for the service needs of the Russian Embassy in the RA and the Border Administration of the FSS of Russia, in particular, ensuring the safety of the Goris-David-Bek and Syunik-Chakaten roads and visits to border areas," the document reads.
It should be reminded that a week earlier, on May 27, by the decision of the government, Armenia transferred for free use the land plots and property located in the communities of Kapan, Meghri and Tekh to the border department of the Russian FSS stationed in Armenia. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Armenian government. "In connection with the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, it became necessary to strengthen the southeastern borders of Armenia (Syunik, ed. note)", the background to the document reads.
