ArmInfo.I do not think that the replacement of foreign ministers in Azerbaijan will affect the country's policy. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan said this in an interview with Armenian journalists in Minsk, referring to personnel changes in Azerbaijan.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia emphasized that, unfortunately, the policy of Azerbaijan was destructive. "Let's see what it will be like now," he said.
When asked by journalists about how the situation at the border can affect the negotiation process, Kocharyan said: "Naturally, any attempt of a forceful solution to the conflict has a bad effect on the negotiation process. In this regard, the recent actions of Azerbaijan have only complicated the situation''.
To the remark of the journalists that Ilham Aliyev stated that the former Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov tried to cooperate with Armenia, the Deputy Minister noted: "I think the problem in this situation is not external, but rather domestic political. Personnel changes have been taking place in Azerbaijan for a long time and it seems that they pursue far-reaching goals, right up to the change of president>.
It should be noted that on July 16, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov was relieved of his post. By the decision of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Jeykhun Bayramov was appointed to this post. He previously served as Minister of Education.
