<Following the results of negotiations with the Georgian authorities, on April 10, 35 pupils and 10 students moved from the USA and Israel to Tbilisi. Thanks to the special permission received by the embassy, two buses arriving from Armenia were able to enter Georgia and, through the corridor in Marneuli district, considered a strict quarantine control zone, safely transport students to Armenia accompanied by patrol police.
The Armenian Embassy in Georgia coordinated the work on the arrival of Armenian citizens in Tbilisi, their meeting, and then transfer from the airport to the Bagratashen checkpoint.
We'll also inform you that between the embassy and the Georgian side there was a preliminary agreement that, based on the state of emergency introduced in Georgia and universal quarantine, any contacts should be excluded between citizens of Armenia who arrived in Georgia and representatives of the embassy>, the statement said.
