Investigative Committee initiates criminal case following  serviceman`s death

ArmInfo.A criminal case has been opened following the death of a serviceman from the Nth military unit of the Ministry of Defense on August 13, according to a statement from the Investigative Committee. The agency stated that necessary investigative and procedural actions are currently  underway.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that the body of serviceman  Grigor Edgarovich Zakaryan was discovered on August 13 with a gunshot  wound. An investigation is ongoing to fully establish the  circumstances of the incident.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that  appropriate personnel decisions would be made in connection with the  soldier's death.
