Azeri President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on some security measures on the contact line between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, haqqin.az reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers, the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense and the Council of Press were given due instructions.
In particular, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan is to form groups of volunteers from the local population to strengthen the defense along the line of contact. In addition, measures are to be taken to prevent media or web dissemination of the data on deployment of facilities of special significance to national security and defense, as well as the data about strategic deployment of armed facilities and the military personnel of the units.
Measures are also to be taken to prevent the residents of the borderline zones from disseminating "strategically important information", as well as to enhance the efficiency of media coverage of the situation in the borderline zone and to prevent disclosure of "strategic information". The President also instructed the relevant bodies to reveal the persons disseminating "state or military secrets".
