Armenia's delegation led by the head of the Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Yuri Khachaturov attended the meeting of the NATO Committee in Brussels on May 20.
The Defense Ministry press-office told ArmInfo the meeting was dedicated to the operations in Afghanistan and Kosovo. The heads of the General Staff of the NATO countries' armed forces attended the meeting.
Major General Yuri Khachaturov met with Deputy Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, British Lieutenant General Adrian J. Bradshaw and informed him of the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone, the incidents on the border and the prospects of participation of Armenian peacekeepers in the international missions. Lieutenant General Bradshaw, in turn, thanked Armenia's Armed Forces for consistent involvement in the Alliance's missions in Afghanistan and Kosovo.
