Armed group calling itself "Daredevils of Sasoun" that has seized the Police Patrol Service Regiment building in Yerevan for 10 days already has come out with a new statement demanding the authorities to provide them access to mass media so that they could made their future statements.
The group demands a new negotiator - Ashot Minasyan, the veteran of the Karabakh War. The group disclaims the Police reports saying that the night skirmish occurred as they tried to go out of the seized building.
"This is not true, the skirmish occurred in the territory of the Regiment, not on a neutral territory as the Police said," the group members say.
As siege continues for the 10th day already, the sides blame each other for unlashing skirmish past night, wherein two members of the group were wounded and hospitalized.
These minutes, Zaruhi Postanjyan, the lead of the Heritage Party faction in the Parliament, has come out with a statement too. She urged the leadership of Armenia and Catholicos of All Armenians to let her deliver food to the "Daredevils of Sasoun" who have been left without food for about 30 hours already.
