During the upcoming session of the Political Council the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) will discuss the question of its "disobedient" MPs, who didn't attend the voting on the Constitutional Reforms, in spite of the Party's decision to support the draft reforms, PAP press secretary Vahan Babayan told Arminfo's correspondent.
He refused to answer any questions related to the voting held the previous day. "All the questions will be discussed during the Political Council's Session," Babayan said.
Earlier Babayan was saying that the party has made a decision and the faction's members must vote for the draft. He was saying that they have no other choice as the Party has its Charter and all its members must follow it. Meanwhile, the Leader of the Party Naira Zohrabyan has not attended the voting either, giving as a reason that she "was abroad".
To recall, on October 5, the National Assembly adopted the draft reforms with 104 "pros". By ArmInfo's data, the referendum on the reforms will be held on December 6. According to ArmInfo's sources, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, who will take a leave for that period, will head the campaign headquarters.
