For
a soldier an exercise is the goal of his training, a chance to show what he has
learned, Commander of the Armenian-Russian Joint Force, Lieut. Gen. Mikhail Grigoryan said after the end of the
third stage of Armenian- Russian tactical exercises on Friday.
"I think the third round of the exercises was a
success. Our forces acted as one. During the exercises they tested lots of
novelties, particularly, drones," Grigoryan said.
Deputy Commander of the 102nd Russian base in Armenia
Pavel Oleksyuk said that the exercises will help the joint force to improve
their practical skills.
The exercises are being held at the Alagyaz training
ground Sept 3-7 and involve over 1,500 soldiers and 300 vehicles.
