Institute for Poling and Marketing - IPM Research Armenia - conducted a survey in the first half of 2015 to find how recognizable the VTB Bank is on the local market. Eventually, IPM Research called VTB Bank (Armenia) as most recognizable bank brand across the country. 

According to the Bank's press office, 1200 citizens of various ages were polled on random basis in Vanadzor, Gyumri, Armavir, and Dilijan (four biggest towns in Armenia) in July-August 2015. 

The respondents were asked questions regarding the so-called Top of Mind awareness, a brand or specific product coming first in customers' minds when thinking of a particular industry.  In addition, the Bank was the leader by the Marketing  Asset (MA) Index characterizing the position of a brand on mind of consumers. 

The poll revealed that VTB Bank (Armenia) is the leader in the banking market of Armenia. It is on the 1st place with a 19.3% recognizable brand.  It is the highest Top of Mind index for the last years.  The Bank is the leader also by the number of customers in the mass segment of banking services - more than one third of the respondents said they are currently using the services of VTB Bank (Armenia). The respondents recognized VTB Bank as the most reliable bank.  

"VTB has been the most recognizable in Armenia for the last years. The survey showed that most of the customers select their bank not only for the spectrum of its services, but also for its reliability and stability and the international financial group it belongs to. We will further try to retain our leadership position and meet the expectations of our customers," says Yuri Gusev, VTB Bank (Armenia) CEO.  VTB Bank (Armenia) joined VTB Group in April 2004 and is fully owned by VTB Bank, the second biggest bank in Russia. VTB Bank (Armenia) is one of the leaders of Armenia's banking sector. It has 67 branches all over the country (the largest branch network in Armenia).
