As many as 27 public organizations of Armenia demand the Prosecutor General's Office to being responsible the police officers who used violence against the women rallying outside the president's residence after non-combat deaths of their sons in army.
The organizations demand public apologies from the Police. "The law-enforcement has created an atmosphere of outrage and impunity, which is inadmissible, like the use of violence," they say.
To recall, on May 13, women gathered outside the president's administration demanding impartial inquiry in the non-combat deaths of their sons in army. Clashes with the police started after the women closely approached the gates of the president's residence. Commenting on the incident, the Police press-office told ArmInfo an internal investigation will be launched.
