Growth of tension at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and at the Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact is a regular ill-fated expression of its complexes by Azerbaijan, political expert, Aleksandr Markarov, said at today's press-conference.
He said that similar incidents will happen in future as well. "One thing is clear, that the negotiating process will continue and the cease fire regime will be also broken", - he said and added that no arrangement on the matter will be made in then near future.
As the same time, the expert did not agree to the viewpoint of the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan that the reaction of the Armenian party at these infringements is quite reserved and inadequate. He emphasized that the Armenian party always gives an adequate response that masters the adversary.
Touching on possible setting of a check point between Armenia and Karabakh, Markarov said that de-facto the common trade area between Yerevan and Stepanakert will be preserved, but de-jure, setting of the check points, which will be controlled by the Armenian party, is not ruled out.
The expert thinks that the delay of the terms of signing an agreement on Armenia's joining Eurasian Economic Union is linked with formal issues. "The parties should reach such a result when the document is acceptable for everybody, otherwise the agreement will not be signed", - he concluded.
