ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK has warned that Thursday 2:00 AM a group of hackers created a phishing copy of ACBA-Online and started e-mailing its link to the bank's customers.
The press service of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK warns that once you log in that website, your data will be transferred to the hackers.
So, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK recommends its customers wishing to log in ACBA-Online to use a relevant application available on the bank's website www.acba.am or to type the URL (https://online.acba.am) manually.
Before entering the login and the password, you will have to make sure that the website's VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation SSL SGC CA security certificate is authentic. When it is, the URL bar is green and preceded by ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK [AM].
The URL should start with https:// rather than http://, which means that the protocol is secure. The bank also recommends reading the security guideline available on its website.
"Our information security service is doing its best to remedy the situation and to find the criminals. No single customer has lost his data so far," the bank says.
