The Nagorno-Karabakh Prosecutor General's Office has publicized the results of the investigation of the criminal cases over the murder of the NKR Defense Army servicemen and mutilation of their bodies during the Azerbaijani military aggression in April 2016.
The NKR Prosecutor General's Office reports that 6 criminal cases were instituted on April 2-10. Three of the cases concerned the facts of beheading of servicemen Kyaram Sloyan, Hrant Gharibyan and Hayk Toroyan.
The Prosecutor General's Office has also instituted criminal cases over the murder and mutilation of the bodies of Rafik Hakobyan, Aghasi Asatryan, Andranik Zohrabyan and Robert Abajyan.
Within the framework of 1 case, the Prosecutor General's Office investigated the murder and mutilation of the bodies of 15 servicemen: Lt. Colonel Alexan Arakelyan, Lt. Colonel Onik Grigoryan, Lt. Colonel Roman Poghosyan, Major Suren Melkumyan, Senior Lieutenant Maxim Grigoryan, private Zhora Yesayan, private Bagrat Alexanyan, private Boris Ozmanyan, private Grigory Harutyunyan, ѓаЁЈ®аЁп Ђагвоп , Sergeant Adam Sahakyan, contract soldier Andranik Grigoryan, private Tigran Berakchyan, private Arman Andreasyan, private Azat Simonyan, Lieutenant Ashot Shahbazyan.
According to the results of the forensic tests, Kyaram Sloyan and Hrant Gharibyan were beheaded after they had been killed. Hayk Toroyan was decapitated while alive. His hand was also cut off. The heads of Hrant Gharibyan and Hayk Toroyan have not been returned to the Armenian side so far.

The Azerbaijani servicemen cut off the ears of Tigran Berakchyan and the fingers of his right hand. The right ear of Arman Andreasyan was cut off and he also had cuts on his breast.
A finger on Azat Simonyan's right hand was cut off and Ashot Shahbazyan's right eye was poked out.
