Moscow continues working with Armenia and Armenia at all possible levels equally urging the sides to refrain from escalation of violence, says Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Committee for International Affairs of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
In his words, this is the only admissible scenario of actions towards the conflicting sides that are on the brink on a large-scale war.
"The Kremlin continues working with both Baku and Yerevan over the escalated conflict in Nagorno- Karabakh urging the sides to refrain from escalation. Other big powers - U.S., UK, Germany, and France - do the same. The only exception is Ankara. If I am not mistaken, the only leader that has addressed and supported only one of the sides to the conflict was Turkish President Recep Erdgoan. Unfortunately, Ankara really works and supports Erdogan only," Kosachev posted on Facebook.
"Such a stance inherently pours oil to the fire encouraging one of the sides to the conflict to continue it," Kosachev says.
