Two Sukhoi Superjets - 100 (SSJ- 100), which have been acquired on leasing, are in Zhukovsky, Russia. Four more planes will be acquired by 2017.
Sargsyan also pointed out that the company has already 14 employees, who were previously employed by Armavia. At the initial stage, the company is going to make flights to Moscow, Beirut and Tehran. Later the flight geography will include Ashgabat and other cities of Russia.

To recall, Armavia, the national air carrier of Armenia, suspended its flights on 1 April 2013 and launched the bankruptcy procedure. Earlier in 2003, the same happened to Armenian Airlines. The program is based on the joint survey of McKinsey & Company and the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia.
