ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank will hold a free business seminar for the heads of SMEs on May 24-27, the Bank's press-office told ArmInfo. According to the source, the seminar will cover 5 key topics, offering theoretical knowledge and practices for optimal business management and use of a number of marketing instruments. The upcoming seminar will be dedicated to "Optimization of Business Management" and "Practical Marketing", but the list of the topics will shortly be expanded.
ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank was the first bank in Armenia to launch regular free business seminars to assist its SME customers. Last year the Bank also made the seminars available for non-customer SMEs. The first seminar in 2016 took place on Feb 23-26 and the last seminar in 2015 was held in November. The topics of the seminars were "Optimization of Business Management" and "Practical Marketing". "This program is aimed at assisting efficient management of the small and medium enterprises running in Armenia. The number of the participants growing with every passing year and the growing positive feedback confirm the efficiency of the program. So, the Bank intends to consistently develop and regularly hold business seminars," CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank Hakob Andreasyan said in a speech during the previous seminar.

According to ArmInfo's Financial Rating of the Armenian Banks, SME accounts for nearly 20% of the Bank's loan portfolio or nearly 75mln drams. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's SME finance portfolio accounts for almost 6% of the total SME finance in the banking system of Armenia.
