Situation outside the building of the Armenian National Assembly where the "NO!" movement is protesting against the Constitutional Reform is growing tense, as police and protesters clash from time to time.
ArmInfo's correspondent reports from the scene, the police do not let protesters hang posters on the fence of the National Assembly and have already detained one of the protesters. Levon Zurabyan, the head of the Armenian National Congress opposition party, is on the scene too. He is negotiating with Deputy Chief of the Yerevan Police Valery Osipyan trying to ease the tension.
Today, on October 5, the Armenian Parliament will submit the draft Constitutional amendments to vote. It is expected that most of the parliamentarians will support the document. Afterwards, the date of the referendum will be determined. According to ArmInfo's data, it is December 6. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, who will retire or will take a vacation by that time, will be appointed as the Chief of the Campaign Headquarters.
