Azerbaijan is considering the issue of filing a lawsuit against Accuracy International (UK) and PGM Precision (France) - the two companies accused of selling sniper rifles to Armenia and is set of appeal to a special judicial company in order to file a lawsuit in court, APA reports.
According to the information, although the rifles are manufactured by Accuracy International (UK) and PGM Precision (France), their sales have been realized by a third company operating in France and that company is said to have closed. There is no exact information about the name of the company and how many weapons it has sold. Information in this regard will be investigated by court.
To recall, earlier, there have been reports on social networks that the Armenian army is equipped with the French-made PGM Mini-Hecate .338 and British-made Arctic Warfare.338 LM. France and the UK have always stated their compliance with the arms embargo imposed on both Armenia and Azerbaijan under the relevant decision of OSCE. To recall, in July 2012 British arms dealer Michael Ranger was jailed for three and a half years for attempting to export arms to Azerbaijan.
