On January 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Special Assistant to the US President and Senior Director for European Affairs at the National Security Council Charles A. Kupchan discussed the Armenian-US cooperation.
The press office of the Armenian Foreign Ministry has told ArmInfo that Nalbandian stressed the importance of expansion and development of Armenia's relations with the United States. He also praised the current level of cooperation. Kupchan said that his visit to Armenia is a good opportunity to discuss the two countries' relations and outline the ways of its development. The interlocutors pointed out that the year 2015 was dynamic in terms of development of the Armenian-US relations. They also discussed the international and regional problems, as well as the anti-terrorism measures and the ways to settle the conflicts. Nalbandian and Kupchan also discussed the Karabakh peace process. "Armenia will keep exerting efforts towards peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict," Nalbandian said.
