The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has decided to institute a criminal case based on the files submitted by Levon Zurabyan, Head of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Faction.
The press office of the Prosecutor General's Office has told ArmInfo that Zurabyan's files submitted to Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan contained enough grounds to institute a criminal case based on Article 149 Part 2 Item 2 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
"The case has already been submitted to the Investigative Committee for comprehensive and unbiased inquiry," the source says.
To note, on November 26, Levon Zurabyan, Head of the Armenian National Congress Faction and head of the "No!" Front's campaign headquarters, provided Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan with a video showing the attempts of the supporters of constitutional reforms to bribe the "No!" Front proxies. "We have many proofs. For now we will present a video footage and will follow the developments," he said, adding that, as a rule, the bribes are given by the members of the "Yes" campaign headquarters, as well as by the governors, mayors and lawmakers from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
