The stand of Paris on the Nagorno-Karabakh problem is completely clear and remains unchanged, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Roman Nadal said during a press conference, Trend reports.
When commenting on the NKR President Bako Sahakyan's recent visit to France, Nadal said, "We do not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh and we have no relationship with the persons calling themselves "the ruling circles."
To note, Sahakyan's recent visit to France covered not only meetings with the public and political circles of the country, but also signing of a cooperation agreement between the French and NKR towns. This sparked Baku's discontent and the French ambassador to Azerbaijan was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. Later, the French diplomat said that he had informed the French Government of the note filed by Azerbaijan.
