A 3.6 Richter Scale magnitude earthquake has been registered in Shirak province of Armenia. The earthquake was fixed on August 15 at 9:41 pm Yerevan time. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 km, 38 km north of Gyumri, 22 km northeast of Amasia village.
A 3.5-magnitude quake was also registered on August 15 morning, 15 km west of the Azerbaijani town of Haftoni, Kavkazsky Uzel reports. No casualties have been reported.
