Part of the passengers injured in the most recent road accident near Tula were delivered to Armenia by the special flight of the Russian Emergency Ministry overnight. Eight of the injured passengers were taken to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center in Yerevan immediately after arrival. Another 12 injured passengers are still receiving treatment at hospitals in Tula.
To recall, 8 people were killed and 47 injured, as a passenger bus running from Moscow to the Armenian capital of Yerevan overturned on the M4 "Don" highway in Tula Region. One of the injured died at hospital. The bus belonged to an Armenian Company King Deluxe. A criminal case was initiated on the basis of Article 264.5 of the Criminal Code of Russia "violation of traffic rules and improper operation of transport means." The police do not rule out that the driver might have fallen asleep while driving. The driver Garnik Haroutiunyan has been detained. By preliminary data, he fell asleep while driving.
