43% of Armenia's citizens consider unemployment and tension escalation on the border to be the most topical problems, Aram Navasardyan, Head of the Yerevan Office of Gallup International Association, said at a press conference in Yerevan when presenting the findings of the public opinion poll.
The expert said that 41% of the respondents think the most topical problem is migration, 40% think it is poverty and 33% - the price boost. Navasardyan added that 63% of the respondents come out for close cooperation between Armenia and Russia, 27% think that Yerevan should conduct an independent policy, 7% think Armenia should deepen cooperation with Europe, and 3% give high priority to partnership with Georgia.
To note, the Yerevan Office of Gallup International Association conducted the survey on November 20-27, 2014, among 1,067 respondents throughout Armenia.
