Tbilisi. Georgian leadership greeted presidential elections
in Ukraine, conducted on May 25. According to the early data, Petr Poroshenko
wins the first round of the elections.
"We support the elections and are
glad that they have been conducted. This a precondition for normalization of
the situation in Ukraine and
Europe", President Giorgi Margvelashvili stated to journalists.
"I wish the Ukrainian people peace
and stability in the country", Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli
Garibashvili told journalists.
