On July 13, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia permitted GeoProMining Gold to use radio frequencies at Sotk deposit in Gegharkunik province of Armenia.
Gevorg Gevorgyan, Head of the Department of Telecommunications at PSRC, said that the company will use the 153,125 MHz and 158,125 MHz radio frequencies for production purposes.
Founded in 2001, GeoProMining is an international, diversified metals resource holding company with three operating assets in Armenia and Russia. In Armenia, GeoProMining owns stakes in Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine, Ararat gold plant, Sotk gold mine. The company produces Dore gold, as well as copper, molybdenum and antimony concentrates.
