Five servicemen of Armenian armed forces face charges over the death of serviceman Kamo Martirosyan.
The press office of the Armenian Investigative Committee has told ArmInfo that Kamo Martirosyan received insults from his fellow servicemen.
"The investigation revealed other episodes of crime as well. Five servicemen - conscript soldiers and a contract serviceman - face charges. Two servicemen are charged under Article 360.1 of the Armenian Criminal Code; two servicemen - under Article 360.2; the contract serviceman is charged under Articles 360.2, 365.1, 375.1. The investigation is underway," the source says.
To recall, Kamo Martirosyan's body with a gunshot wound in the lower jaw bone was found in one of the defensive bases in Noyemberyan, Tavush province, on March 14, around 4 pm. According to the pretrial investigation, conscript soldier Kamo Martirosyan shot himself dead. A criminal case was instituted under Article 110.1 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
