Military and military-technical cooperation with Russia and other partner countries is realized according to the plan, Armenia's Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan announced in Yerevan on January 26, answering to the question about the spread information of supply disruption of weapons from Russia within 200 mln USD defense contract.
"All the agreements reached earlier are fulfilled according to the plan, including the agreement with Russia on supply of long-thrust weapons and techniques", Ohanyan noted.
He also did not reject the spread information about Armenia's intention to purchase fighter planes Su-30 from Russia. "Armenia develops its military potential in all areas taking into account its own needs and this field is no exception", the Minister noted.
At the same time he noted that after lifting sanctions against Iran, new opportunities open for cooperation in defense field between Yerevan and Tehran.
