Administrative fines have been imposed on three police officers for obstruction of journalists' activities in the course of the protests by "We are the Owners of Our Country" public initiative on April 22, Ashot Aharonyan, Head of the Armenian Police Department for Public and Mass Media says in a Facebook post.
To recall, Police did not let the public initiative "We are the Owners of Our Country!" to march to the Armenian president's residence on April 22. The protesters cheated the Police, marched to the different direction and returned to the Baghramyan Ave when the president's residence is located. The Police surrounded the avenue, which resulted in several clashes with the protesters. Eventually, 42 people, including journalists, were detained but set free later.
