Habitat for Humanity Armenia with the support of INECOBANK has repaired the entrances of an apartment house in Yerevan's Shengavit community.
The press service of INECOBANK reports that the repair was part of the program to support condominiums in improving residential areas. The program is being implemented by Habintat for Humanity Armenia and INECOBANK with the support of Yerevam's Municipality, the Administration of Shengavir community and the Gevorg Chaush condominium. The roofs of two buildings have also been repaired in Vanadzor under the same program.
"Such programs help to strengthen ties between condominiums and the population. We are confident of the success of this program and are ready to cooperate with other condominiums wishing to improve their areas," Program Manager of Habitat for Humanity Armenia Karine Mailyan said. "Being a socially responsible bank, INECO regards this program as a chance to help poor families to improve their welfare," Manager of Shengavit branch of INECOBANK Hayk Gasparyan said.
Since 2000 Habitat for Humanity Armenia has supported over 3,500 families.
