Locomotive Stadium hosted a regular corporate event - the IX Spartakiad of VTB, which brought together 900 sportsmen of VTB Group's teams from 7 countries.
The press office of the Bank has told ArmInfo that the event took place on August 6 and 29 teams from VTB subsidiaries - including the team of VTB Bank (Armenia) - took part in the competitions.
The head office of VTB won the Best Team Award; the volleyball team of VTB Bank (Belarus) won the Award "For the Will to Win"; and VTB's team from the Central Federal District won the People's Choice Award.
This year the Spartakiad included 13 kinds of sport: indoor soccer, volleyball, street-ball, multiathlon, darts, chess, bowling, etc.
VTB's Spartakiad was held for the ninth time. Over the past 13 years, it has become an important element of VTB's corporate culture. Nearly 4,000 people visited the event.
