Oppositionist Gevorg Safaryan and two other participants of the New Armenia Front's rally are set free, press -service of Armenia's Ombudsman informed ArmInfo.
Ombudsman's office also informs that Safaryan when being detained called at hot line of Ombudsman's office and informed that he is carried to the police department, later Karo Egnukyan and Miqael Nahapetyan also called at the hot line and informed about detainment.
"At the moment a representative of the office of Ombudsman is in the Police department of the Central Administrative district, where he has met with the detainees. He learned that another activist was also detained. Another group of Ombudsman's representatives is on the Liberty Square where the protest of New Armenia Front is being held at the moment", the Ombudsman's office statement says.
To note, Safaryan and other activists were detained in Liberty Square before the protest was launched.
