International group of diversified mining companies GeoProMining ("GPM" or "Company") participated in the official opening ceremony of UWC International school in Dilijan and presented the school with a number of Armenian books in the English language.

GeoProMining presented the school with a number of books in the English language about Armenian history, geography and culture. Those books contribute to the expansion of foreign students' vision about Armenia.  Among the books are educational publications, and also video materials of virtual tours to the sights of Armenia.  They will contribute to the formation of the students' vision about the country, where they will live and study.

The project of construction of the International school in Dilijan is a charitable project of Ruben Vardanyan and his spouse Veronika Zonabend and their friends. The first students of the school started their studies in September 2014. The graduates will receive International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. Starting from 2017 the school will start Cambridge IGCSE program, which is for students of age 13-16. Today the number of students is 96, who came from 48 countries of the world, including North America, Eastern Europe, Russia and Australia.
